Yes, at one point I did know the speed of light to that degree of accuracy. I have forgotten most of it recently, however. I do have plans on rememorizing it, just to say that I know it. What can I say? I'm a science geek.
Yes, more Trek references. I love that show! Though, if we were still doing this comic, there'd be a bunch of Stargate references too. Probably ones joking about Amanda Tapping's crush on Richard Dean Anderson (which I sooo don't blame her for... he's pretty good lookin' for an old guy. Yeah, I have issues), or the sheer amount of Sam/Jack porn there is on teh interwebs. More Sam/Jack PWP than there is J/7 PWP. Insanity! Unfortunately, boring insanity. PWP gets old reaaal fast... can only stand it if it's a comedy and thus isn't supposed to have a plot anyway.
I'm gunna shut up and go to bed now.
